Pocket Flow is a privacy-first expense management application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have full control over your financial data. Our app is designed to function entirely locally on your device, meaning we do not maintain central servers or databases to collect, store, or view your personal financial information.

Data We Collect:

  • Authentication Data: We use Firebase Authentication to allow you to sign in securely using your Google account. We only receive basic account identifiers (such as your email address and display name) to verify your identity within the app. We do not store your passwords, and we do not have access to your Google account password.

  • App Usage Data: We do not track, collect, or store your personal expense data (such as transaction amounts, categories, or notes). Your transaction history remains stored locally on your device's internal storage. We do not have access to your data and cannot view, analyze, or sell it.

Third-Party Integrations:

Google Drive API: Our backup/restore feature allows you to save and retrieve your data directly to and from your own personal Google Drive account. This is a user-initiated action. We do not have access to your Google Drive files outside of the specific, manual actions you take within the app to perform a backup or restore.

Data Deletion:

  • In-App: You can delete your account and all associated profile data from our authentication system directly within the app's settings.

  • Google Drive Data: Because your backups are stored in your personal Google Drive, you have full control to delete these files at any time by accessing your Google Drive account directly. We cannot delete these files on your behalf.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability:

  • As Is Basis: The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the reliability or availability of the app.

  • User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the security, integrity, and management of your data, including all backups created via Google Drive. We have no ability to recover or restore data that is lost, deleted, or corrupted on your device or in your personal cloud storage.

  • Limitation of Liability: In no event shall the app developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use the app.
